Chanel has replaced one ridiculously beautiful blonde for another. Sorry, Brad Pitt.
In what seems like the most no-brainer decision ever, the fashion house has tapped Gisele Bündchen to be the face of its iconic Chanel No. 5 fragrance. (Funny, we'd always imagined that she smelled like sunbeams and unicorn tears.)
The supermodel will star in a campaign directed by Baz Luhrmann later this year. Luhrmann previously worked on a Chanel No. 5 ad starring Nicole Kidman, who joins Catherine Deneuve, Audrey Tautou, and Pitt as past ambassadors for the scent.
Given The Great Gatsby director's opulent style, except something whimsical and glamorous. So long as it's not a monologue about the power of fragrance, Gisele will knock it out of the park.
