Daniel Radcliffe Knows His American Football

He may be a native Londoner who brought to screen one of England’s biggest literary heroes, but these days Daniel Radcliffe calls the States his home. He’s got a place in New York City. He’s currently starring in his third Broadway show, a revival of Martin McDonagh’s The Cripple of Inishmaan. And, he’s also become quite the avid student of the stars-and-stripes religion known as American football. Radcliffe followed the recent NFL draft and was thrilled to see Missouri’s Michael Sam make history when he became the first openly gay player to be drafted. Sam was picked up by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round, and as Radcliffe told us when we spoke to him for his new movie, What If, it shouldn’t have taken so long.
Check out the trailer for Radcliffe's new movie, What If, out this August. And, stay tuned for the second part of our interview with the star.
