Leighton Meester & Adam Brody Step Out As Mr. & Mrs.

It was a memorable evening at the Tony Awards last night. Neil Patrick Harris and Bryan Cranston won big. Audra McDonald scored a record-breaking sixth Tony. And, Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen Leighton Meester and Adam Brody made their first official public appearance as a married couple. Ah, theater.

Meester evoked old Hollywood with her bouncy curls and white, cap-sleeved Antonio Berardi gown, while her new husband looked dapper in a suit and gray tie. The actress, currently starring in Of Mice and Men, was on hand to present an award while cheering on nominated castmate Chris O'Dowd.

The made-in-TV-heaven couple has kept a low romantic profile since tying the knot in February. The Tonys, however, seem to encourage red-carpet confirmation. Four years ago, then-spouses Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds made a rare appearance at the ceremony, while former lovers Cherry Jones and Sarah Paulson took their relationship public in 2005.

Here's hoping this coupling has more longevity. And, maybe a couple of future babies named Ryan and Serena? (Just Jared)
