After just 24 months of living, Blue Ivy's life is, by material standards, way more extraordinary than your average tiny person's. She rocks Tom Ford and studded leather jackets, jet-sets like a professional pilot, and she has her own Change.org petition — because what do you get the 2-year-old who has everything?
While she's likely all about the life mom and pop Knowles-Carter have afforded her, Blue can't possibly appreciate this petition, even if she were able to read it. It's calling for Beyoncé to comb baby Blue's hair. Yes, you read that right: There's a Change.org petition to get Bey to take a damn brush to her daughter's dome.

"[All sic] As a woman who understands the importance of hair care. It's disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture. The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let's get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair."
As of 5:30 p.m., the petition has garnered nearly 700 signatures. It's not a lot — the petition to get Justin Bieber deported received almost 300,000, but that's not the point. Even if Bey and Jay never catch wind of this, the fact remains that this is still a form of online bullying. It's the reason celebrities like Kristen Bell are so vehemently against media coverage of children. Hell, there's hardly ever an image of Blue facing the camera because the Knowles-Carter family does its best to maintain what bit of privacy it can. And, this here petition is why.
Yesha Callahan, a writer for The Root, spotted the double-standard the petition presents. "Would people be happy if Beyoncé threw a weave or flatiron through Blue Ivy’s hair?" she asks. "Or, how about a million beads and braids? Then you’ll have the natural-hair commanders complaining about how much damage that can cause to her hairline." It's a lose-lose situation no parent would want to face.
Anyway, Blue's two. She should be rolling her precious head around in sand, mud, lollipops, and joy. Ten bucks and a high five says her first complete sentence will be "I woke up like this," just to troll her haters. (The Cut)
