Prince George has been keeping a low profile since his scene-stealing jaunt to New Zealand and Australia this spring. But, when one's father is celebrating his first Father's Day as a proud papa, one must make an appearance. Even if it (sob) means missing out on North West's first birthday party.
Decked out in red, white, and blue, the young royal joined his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, for a day at a polo match. One player in particular caught the future king's interest: his father, Prince William, who joined Prince Harry for the Jerudong Trophy Polo Match in the name of charity.
The overall-clad George occupied himself by playing with a polo mallet, meeting horses, and kicking around a soccer ball. Alas, last night's World Cup match between England and Italy came on well past his royal bedtime — though, given their losing performance, that might be a good thing.
Here's the big question: Did George get his pops a tie, or a World's Best Dad mug? He's clearly too young to make a crown out of macaroni shells, but just you wait.
