Is Cara Delevingne Throwing Us Shade?

We brought you the best under-$25 sunglasses last week, but it’s Cara Delevingne’s specs we have our eye on at the moment. The model wore these unusual shades out and about in London yesterday. And, once we got past the fact that she’s wearing a wool beanie (Chanel, of course) and a heavy leather jacket in the middle of June, our full attention was on her offbeat lenses.

At first glance, she looks somewhat like a (chic) insect with some sort of eye disorder. How is she actually seeing out of those? When you look closer, though, the sunglasses actually seem kind of cool. And, they feel different from the sea of traditional Wayfarers and oversize frames flooding the streets right now.
