When he doesn't have clothing as a creative outlet, he just plows through everything else in our universe, trying to make it better. This includes, but is not limited to, Grammy-award speeches and white T-shirts. Next on his list of things that could be made more beautiful: Instagram. West has no time for your filters, nor for the app's interface. At an appearance during a seminar at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, West told the audience, “The world, as a whole, is fucking ugly. The Internet, as a whole, is fucking ugly, too.”
We know what you're thinking: Isn't that just as Kanye as it gets? No, because there's more. Apparently he asked Instagram cofounder Kevin Systrom if he could redo the app: “Instagram is nice," he said. "It’s nice looking — I’m not knocking it. But, in general, everyone spends all of their time looking at their screens or their phones. And, just as a simple task, we could clean that up.”
Even though he says he's not knocking Instagram, it sounds like he's definitely knocking Instagram. Who doesn't want to see a Kanyegram app in development as soon as possible? It would probably be the same as Instagram, except filters would be swapped out for "Bound 2" backdrops. (Vanity Fair)
