Cara D. Naps During Vogue Interview — Twice

Fame is sometimes exhausting — so exhausting, in fact, that one must occasionally rest during even the most exciting of occasions. For Cara Delevingne, that meant taking not one, but two naps during her Vogue interview.
The model showed up late, according to interviewer Plum Sykes. Apparently, she had overslept. "I always wake up 10 minutes before I have to be anywhere," she explained. The two decided to get massages. And, then, Delevingne fell asleep again. "An hour later I await Cara on a wicker lounger," Sykes wrote. "I am definitely relaxed enough for the interview. I read a magazine, have some tea, look at the time. Fifteen minutes pass. No Cara. Half an hour. Finally a masseuse appears and whispers to me that Cara has fallen asleep. 'I went to take her some water after her treatment and she was out. Shall I wake her up?'" This is fair enough, because massages are relaxing. And, perhaps massages were not the best pre-interview activity for someone who admits she's a snoozer.

Once Delevingne awoke from her slumber, she apologized to Sykes. "I'm so sorry! I fall asleep everywhere! Someone recently asked if they could publish a book of pictures of me sleeping, because there are so many," she explained.
Late last night, however, the model took to Twitter to express her dissatisfaction with the story.
For someone looking to prove her professionalism, the sarcastic apology was perhaps not the best route to take. But, Sykes — and Cara D's fans — should remember that she's not the first person to fall asleep during such an important interview. North West probably took a nap, too. (Telegraph)
