Drake Ups His Instagram Game To Get His Crush’s Attention

Before the dawn of social media, if a celebrity had a crush on another celebrity, all it took to set up a rendezvous was a friendly exchange between publicists. If there was interest from both parties, the hookup could be mutually beneficial, for both image and libido. But, that was then.
With the advent of covert hookup apps like Twitter and Instagram, getting a fellow celeb's attention is just a share button away. Just ask Drake, who's been using Instagram to let WNBA star Skylar Diggins know that he's, well, diggin' her. For the past year, the emo rapper hasn't exactly been subtle about his attraction to the Tulsa Shock hoopster, and has posted her photogenic face on his Instagram not once, not twice, but thrice. That's pretty much the modern-day equivalent of chasing a girl around the schoolyard and covering her face in dirt. Drake is in major like.

Last night, the man formerly known as Aubrey, took his public courtship to the next level, when he posted a photo of himself wearing a Diggins #4 tee, with a caption that reads "Feeling truly blessed today. Been down and I’m grateful to be on my feet in this wonderful weather with wonderful people." Drizzy's summertime blues might have something to do with the fact that Diggins has been shacked up with artist Daniel Smith for some time now. In fact, Smith hasn't taken too kindly to the Instagram attention being showered on his girlfriend, and posted this photo to let the rapper know that despite your fame and fortune, "We good."
Oh, contemporary courtship. Just as Shakespeare envisioned it, we're sure. (The Bleacher Report)
