How Liv Tyler Spent Her Summer Vacation

Excuse the mini gush moment, but is there anything not to love about Liv Tyler? Aside from seeming extremely down to earth, she is downright gorgeous. And, in her cover interview with Violet Grey, she puts her all-American-girl self on full display.

"It's a competitive world, I guess, but all we can do is feel our best," she tells the digital mag. "I'm not a competitive person. I love women, I'm intrigued by them. I think they're fascinating and complex."

Aside from the healthy dose of girl power Tyler offers up in the profile, she also shares some of her favorite beauty routines. "I do really hot baths with different salts and oils a few times a week and exfoliate," she says. "I also believe in going to We Care, doing a week of fasting, colonics, and sleeping a lot."

The photos from her editorial are also a lesson in effortless beauty. Lounging lakeside, Liv somehow manages to make a royal-blue manicure and an intense cat-eye look appropriate for a summer camp. But, products aside, there's one beauty lesson the actress lives by: "There's no cream that can fix you if you're not beautiful on the inside," she says.
