You know Mackenzie Davis, don't you? You should. She's been on a tear ever since her film-stealing turn in That Awkward Moment, where she outshined her co-stars like Michael B. Jordan and, you know, Zac Efron. On top of her rising film career, Davis also stars in this summer's sleeper hit, Halt & Catch Fire, AMC's new thriller about the rise of personal computer in the 1980s. In it, she plays a brilliant but inexperience computer whiz kid, going toe to toe with Lee Pace and Scoot McNairy.
On top of her fierce acting chops, Mackenzie is also the world's most down-to-earth, ready-to-drink-beer-and-dish-advice gal out there. Since her newest film What If (with Daniel Radcliffe and Adam Driver) is all about that tricky combination of love and friendship, we asked her about how she navigates those treacherous waters herself. And, her advice happened to be just as cool as she is, obviously.
What If is in theaters August 8.
