While the tears may have been a-flowin' during the R29-hosted NYC screening of If I Stay, our after-party turned up a much different tune. Good timing, too. We'll just say that the flick — about a promising cellist who must fight to live after a devastating car accident (played by Chloë Grace Moretz) — will grip your tender heart and give it a tight squeeze.
The cocktail reception, however, was ALL about celebrating. From an If I Stay swag vending machine to a temporary-tattoo station to a DJ performance by Chairlift's Caroline Polachek, the mood quickly elevated to a joyous occasion at Landmark Sunshine Cinema where the fan event all went down. And, the fact that Chloë Grace Moretz, Jamie Blackley, author Gayle Forman (whose book the movie was based on), and fashion artist-blogger Dallas Shaw all showed up only made it better.
