Scoring a selfie with Beyoncé is everyone's near-impossible dream. You pretty much have to be Gwyneth Paltrow — or a very strategically placed "On The Run" audience member — to get that kind of keepsake. Or, so we thought.
Turns out, anyone who takes the trouble to stroll through Regent's Park (that's in London, you unlucky Yanks) can get a personal photo-op with Queen Bey. Well, not exactly Bey herself, but with an extraordinarily lifelike wax figure lifted from Madame Tussaud's down the road. Sporting a gold leotard and wielding a microphone, the wax goddess of pop will be on display amongst the park's geese and greenery until the fall. She'll then be shipped off to the Madame Tussaud's museum in San Francisco.
Until then, fans are welcome to take Beyoncé selfies aplenty. It may not be as cool as the real thing, but as far as public installations go, Bey is a heck of a lot prettier than that Rick Owens behemoth hanging in Selfridges. (Evening Standard)
