"There is trouble in paradise," he told Spencer. "We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
Carey and Cannon were married in 2008 and have two children. Despite the swell of media attention this will likely bring, Cannon took the opportunity to remind everyone that his number-one priority is his three-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. "My main focus is my kids," he said in the interview.
While living separately doesn't exactly mean they're divorcing, it certainly doesn't bode well for Carey and Cannon. It may be surprising to hear of their separation, since the pair staged an elaborate vow renewal ceremony last year. But, as Page Six points out, that may just be the kiss of death for celebrities. Just look at JLo and Marc Anthony and Seal and Heidi Klum, to name a few power couples who felt it necessary to reconfirm their declarations of undying love. (HuffPost)
