While most of fall's major ad campaigns have enlisted familiar faces of the fashion industry — Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Alexa Chung, and Daria Werbowy, just to name a few — there are two newer models worth noting who have quite a bit in common.
These ladies are both in their late teens, they both have blonde hair, and, most importantly, their family name is as synonymous with 30 Rock as it is with Hollywood scandal.
This autumn marks an industry first for both Ireland and Hailey Baldwin, daughters of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger and Stephen and Kennya Baldwin, respectively. While it's quite commonplace for famous offspring to find themselves front and center of the paparazzi lens, we'll argue that it's less likely to see them collaborating with major national brands or signing with esteemed agencies. In this case, Ireland recently joined with IMG and Hailey with Ford. (Sure, Kendall Jenner is another example, but it's hardly every day that a reality TV star lands a spot on the Chanel couture runway.)
Nevertheless, we figure that there's really no better way to celebrate a double-Baldwin milestone than to mix in a bit of friendly family rivalry. While Ireland, 18, made her solo campaign debut with Rampage last month, yesterday it was revealed that her one-year-younger cousin has teamed with French Connection to model for its latest capsule collection.
The results are as different as body-con and a slightly relaxed fit; fresh-out-of-the-salon blonde and letting-your-roots-grow-in blonde. And, the slideshow ahead is proof. Go on, click through and place your bet on the Baldwin whose smize killed it most.
