We don't normally tune into the VMAs for "serious" outfit inspiration. And, last night's red carpet only gave us more reasons for this approach. But, amid Katy Perry's all-denim throwback and Taylor Swift's Stars On Ice-inspired romper lies one wearable getup: Solange Knowles' glittery suit. Veering away from her counterparts in wacky ensembles, she wore this standout outfit from H&M's new Studio Collection (launching September 4).

Aside from being an actually affordable look, the best part about this choice is that it can easily transition into your everyday life — especially as an alternative to your pretty-basic all-black two-piece.
