Pop's resident witch Lorde is known for her convulsive dance moves. But, Grimes is here to show you that twitchily moving your arms while wearing all black does not a witch make. You must conjure up a post-apocalyptic version of Dante's Inferno to earn that title.
And, that's exactly what Claire Boucher and "Go" collaborator Blood Diamonds have done. Since debuting the trap-heavy track at the Governors Ball in New York this summer, the song has received over 1.5 million listens on Soundcloud. And, now it's got a shiny video.
In a post on her Tumblr, Grimes explains that the video is "[sic] supposed to be dante’s inferno (abstractly), different layers of hell etc."

Abstract would be putting it lightly. The four-minute clip is a surrealist feast for the eyes, filled with black-lit, bullet-hole-ravaged rooms, desert exploration, some swords, and plenty of bewitching dance moves. Boucher is mesmerizing as Dante while Blood Diamonds follows her throughout the desert as Virgil.
Watch it below. We'll see you in aural hell. (Spin)
