Ashlee Simpson Marries Into Music Royalty

Sure, Ashlee Simpson's sister is a pop-star-turned-fashion-and-lifestyle magnate, but does anything top having Diana Ross as a mother-in-law?

The legendary singer hosted the nuptials of her son, Evan Ross, and Ashlee at her estate in Greenwich, CT on Sunday. It is the second marriage for Simpson, who was previously wed to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, with whom she has a son, Bronx.

Big sister Jessica Simpson, who also tied the knot this summer, served as matron of honor. Scrubs actor Donald Faison and Jessica's husband, Eric Johnson, were among the groomsmen, while 5-year-old Bronx walked his mother down the aisle. Jessica and Eric's children, Maxwell and Ace, were flower girl and ring bearer.

Ashlee didn't hold back when it came to dressing the part of bride. She donned a long-sleeved wedding gown embellished with pearls, along with a tiara and $750,000 worth of Neil Lane diamonds and rubies. Ross, meanwhile, opted for a black velvet tux.

And, what of that "supreme" mother-in-law? Reports say the pop diva planned the wedding and even performed for the couple. There are definitely perks to having Diana Ross as a relative. (E! News)
