New Survey Says You’re All Mushy On The Inside

You may not know it, but you're in love. In fact, you're in love with love. According to intel released by e-book subscription service Scribd, the most popular genre of digital books in 2014 was romance, you big saps.
At this point, you're probably thinking, "I don't read love books," and "It's too early to do year-end data collections." Well, you're wrong about both of those things because, like Shakira's hips, these numbers don't lie. A survey of Scribd's reader data shows the most opened e-books are romance titles, followed by mind, body, and spirit, and business. Romance also tops the list for the most completed books, followed by fictions and kids and YA.

Other fun facts from the survey show the most read book on Scribd in 2014 was The Alchemist. And, the most highlighted book was Wine for Dummies. In fairness, if y'all are drinking wine and highlighting, these patterns suddenly don't seem so surprising.
But, while this information is certainly interesting, it should be taken with a grain of salt. And, apparently, several glasses of vino. Check out the full set of findings below.
