We love Ellen DeGeneres. Everyone loves Ellen DeGeneres. But, did we think we would ever see her waving her booty in a pair of ripped Daisy Dukes? No. No, we didn't expect that one.
Ever unpredictable, the talk show queen has posted a bizarre Instagram snap that pays homage to Nicki Minaj and her butt-praising summer anthem, "Anaconda." There's Nicki. There's a jungle set. And, there's Ellen, all dolled up in booty shorts, a white tank, fanny pack, and enough chunky gold jewelry to give Mr. T pause.
On the one hand, you've got America's golden gal dabbling in some un-PC cultural appropriation for humor's sake (and, of course, to announce the impending launch of The Ellen Show's season premiere). On the other hand, seeing DeGeneres wave her rump is kind of on par with seeing your algebra teacher buying condoms. (Awkward.)
