When Trademark launched last February, it changed our lives. The American sportswear label, helmed by Pookie and Louisa Burch (daughters of Chris Burch), practically begged us to clean out our closets and make room for its contemporary twist on wardrobe staples, all inspired by minimalist art of the '60s and '70s.
Want some Trademark in your life, immediately? New Yorkers, you're in luck. The label has officially opened its flagship store in the heart of Soho which carries its fall/winter 2014 collection in its entirety — that means everything, from women's apparel, shoes, handbags, and jewelry to men's clothing.
The 2,500-square-foot store, located on Grand Street between Greene and Mercer, boasts two levels designed in collaboration with architecture firm Bozarthfornell, creating a bold interior that is packed with brass clothing racks, homey wooden walls, and quirky accents, including "scrimshaw baskets from Nantucket and abstract paintings done by the founders’ grandfather, Chick Cole." The space is sleek, chic, and a perfect translation of the young brand's aesthetic. Fall is here, and Trademark is ready to help you find your new uniform. But first, click through to see the downtown locale.
Trademark, 95 Grand Street (between Greene Street and Broadway).
