Jimmy Fallon welcomed Barbra Streisand to The Tonight Show on Monday night. And, while that may not sound like huge news, it was Babs' first late-night appearance in more than 50 years.
Since this was such a momentous occasion, Fallon relinquished his host's chair for the singing queen. She talked about how she'd been on Johnny Carson's show several times, but never appeared when Jack Paar hosted. "He didn't like me," she told Fallon.
Her late-night segment also included promotion of her new album, Partners. The new collection of songs features duets with Michael Bublé, Blake Shelton, and more. But, Fallon gladly filled in for a series of duets with Streisand. Of course, there was no showing up the queen of Broadway. She thought the talk show host was very talented, but warned him: "I wouldn't give up your night job." (Hollywood Reporter)
