Here at R29 Living, we consider ourselves gold card members of the IKEA fan club. We pore over the annual catalog for styling tips, and frequently product stalk the site during work hours. There's hardly a more devoted group than us. Or, so we thought before we came across these hilarious images of the IKEA Malaysia Look-alike Contest.

As part of a local campaign, the home retailer put a call for photo submissions on Facebook, asking its fans to dress up as their favorite products. Customers were encouraged to cosplay as any kind of inanimate object they could find in the store. The champion and runners up took home IKEA gift cards, but judging from the results, the Internet is the real winner here. The IKEA loyalists who participated proved their creative prowess handily: They formed lampshades out of toilet paper, and donned furry blankets to pass as stuffed animals.
