The thing about child stars is they eventually grow up. No matter how much we'd like to freeze-frame their cherubic faces, alas, our image of them is but a memory in own personal cinematic time capsule. Take for instance, the case of Haley Joel Osment.
In the early aughts, few child actors were bigger. As the pale-faced kid with some serious psychic abilities in The Sixth Sense, his catchphrase, "I see dead people," helped turn the film into one of the most iconic (and profitable) movies of the decade. It also made Osment a bona fide star.
He was hand-picked by Steven Spielberg to play a boy android in A.I. and shared the marquee with Kevin Spacey in Pay it Forward. But, after puberty hit him like a ton of bricks, Hollywood's love affair with the actor faded. Although he managed to get steady work over the years, Osment hasn't been able to transition to adult roles in the same way that some of his counterparts were.

Well, it turns out that Haley Joel Osment is having something of a moment. After delighting Toronto audiences as a loud-mouthed DJ in Kevin Smith's oddball horror movie Tusk, Osment's upcoming filmography is straight-up stacked. And, because you'll be seeing a lot more of him around, here's a photo of what he looks like now, just so you don't freak out when you do.
