Karl Lagerfeld’s Cat Is Officially A Fashion Designer Now

It's been almost three years since Karl Lagerfeld brought Choupette into the world of fashion. In that short period of time, she's achieved so much: Karl's kat has a solid media presence, a Shu Uemura line, and an accessories line under her high-end collar. But — like pet, like owner — fashion's favorite feline friend (say that five times fast) is an overachiever: This winter, Choupette will reprise her role as designer and designer's muse for a sophomore line of Karl Lagerfeld totes, sweatshirts, and accessories.
Unlike the first collection, Karl Lagerfeld's second cat line gives the adorable little furball the monster treatment. A scowling Choupette in sweatshirt form stares down any bystanders — always with a little Chanel rouge on her lips, obviously. Or, you can have double the sass with a Fendi-like Buggies on a Monster Choupette leather tote. The line will drop at the Karl Lagerfeld flagship in November with prices starting at €25 and capping off at €295 for the leather tote according to the Telegraph, but the entire collection will also be shoppable online. So, this holiday season, everyone can have their own little piece of Choupette. Check out some of the items from the Monster capsule, ahead.
