The Boobkini Is Back, And On A Mission To End Breast Cancer

When we first reported on the TaTa Top in July, we weren't sure the world was ready for a bikini with trompe l'oeil nips printed right on. But, boy, were we wrong. The TaTa Top took off in a huge way, and if the brand's Instagram is any indication, folks have had a ton of fun this summer, showing off their faux-boobs on the beach, at yoga class, while brewing beer — and yes, even while voting (because, why not exercise all your rights at once?).
If you don't have yours yet, the tops now come with an incentive other than watching jaws drop as you pass. Starting now, $5 from each top purchased will be donated to The Keep A Breast Foundation, an organization that aims to prevent breast cancer through art, education, and action; or the Free The Nipple campaign, with whose work you're surely familiar. Customers can choose at check-out which organization to support. The TaTa Top has also raised more than $11,000 for the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation via a previous campaign.
Up next for the brand? Due to popular demand, a tankini, one-piece swimsuit, and a "men's product" are in the works — and we hope that last one still involves faux boobs. The bikini tops are $28, available in a range of skin tones, and, if you click ahead, we'll prove that you really can do just about anything in your TaTa Top. But, freaking out squares might still be the most fun thing about 'em.
