Celebrities Say Final Goodbyes At Robin Williams Memorial

It's been about a month a half since Robin Williams took his own life on August 11. Since then, the beloved comic and actor has been the subject of countless heartfelt tributes , but it wasn't until yesterday that friends and family members gathered for the official private memorial service.
Comic Relief cohorts Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg were among those paying their last respects to Williams at San Francisco's Curran Theatre. A source told Us Weekly that Crystal, who also paid tribute to his friend at the Emmys , was in tears as he opened the service with an emotional speech. Williams' three children also spoke, as did Goldberg.

Guests — including Ben Stiller, Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Joel McHale, Josh Groban, George Lucas, Nancy Pelosi, and Seth Green — were given ribbon wristbands reading "Enjoy the stillness of life" to wear. A band also performed at the ceremony, which lasted more than two hours.
We suppose this is the final farewell to Williams. Which feels just a little bit more heartbreaking.
