Ah, to have friends in high places. Lady Gaga's wig game has taken a turn for the, erm, perm these past couple of months as she promotes her new jazz duet album with Tony Bennett called Cheek to Cheek. And, if these faux curls are looking a bit familiar, it's because they are. They're Cher's. Like, "Believe" Cher's.
Apparently, Gaga raided the icon's closet. "I feel very supportive and blessed that Cher has been so supportive of me borrowing her wigs," Gaga told Style.com. "That shows the mark of a real artist."
Yes, a real artist with a history of appropriation rumors. No shade, though. In fact, it's all praise. The Lady's made it! After all, it was Picasso — a "real artist" — who once said that "great artists steal." (Style.com)
