During the month of October, there's a sudden influx of pink — pink pens, pink apparel, pink T-shirts... You name it, there's one in a blushy hue. That's largely due to the efforts of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Foundation, to make the color synonymous with the fights of 200,000 women and 2,000 men annually against breast cancer.
While it's safe to say we're all aware of the disease, spreading the word of early detection is still a bit of an uphill battle. Non-profit organizations aplenty, and even survivors, are weighing in there, but, what's important about this month is helping to pass that information along. And, if you can do a little good by adding things to your shopping cart, that counts, too.
Ahead, you'll find apparel, jewelry, and more in a whole spectrum of pink — from neon to not at all — that benefit different organizations working to combat breast cancer. An added bonus: These purchases are 100% guilt-free.
