Hermès is the epitome of chic, no question. If we still fawn over the Birkin bag — and mourn when anyone meddles with it — decades after it hit the market, there's something to be said about the quality and longevity of the brand's designs. Getting the iconic bag may still require adding your name to a list and waiting patiently, but it just got easier to wrap yourself in another equally emblematic item from the Hermès inventory: the silk scarf.
To better cater to our constant need to feel French, Hermès launched La Maison des Carrés, which translates to the House of Squares. It's an online shop dedicated to scarves — and pocket squares and stoles — in a wide range of designs. The fall '14 prints, which include a winged zebra called "Zebra Pegasus" and a tableau of life in the American West titled "La Vie Sauvage Du Texas" are available for purchase on the site already.
Hermès may be a heritage brand, but it's steadily moving into the digital space — and, now, straight to your doorstep. For even more instant gratification, click through for a selection of the 600 pieces available online.
