Heartbreakers gonna break, break, break, break, break 'cause Taylor Swift's shaken 'em all off. "I made the decision to spend time on my own and figure out who I am," she recently told People magazine.
The interview, found in the new 40th Anniversary issue which pays homage to People's inaugural edition featuring Mia Farrow on the cover, finds the country-turned-pop star at her most candid. "I used to be fascinated by romance," she reveals. "Now I'm more realistic." And, it's showing.
There hasn't been a headline concerning Swift's love life in awhile. Instead, she's been on that feminist grind, inviting fans over to her house to eat homemade cookies, and walking around with her cat Olivia Benson. (Her other cat, Meredith, as you might know, is not about that paparazzi life.)

"I'm not going to compromise the happiness and independence that I've found for just anybody," Swift explained. "I'm not looking for anything to complete. I think that's a nice place to be."
Instead, she's getting down to her own sick beat. Get down girl, get right on down. (People)
