Robert Downey Jr. Gets Intense With Jimmy Fallon

Of all the skits on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, "Intense Staredown" has, frankly, never been our favorite. Last night, Robert Downey Jr. changed all that.
The Sherlock Holmes star — he just signed on for a third film, by the way — nailed the part of philosophical Himalayan guru in his long, braided, your-Aunt-Darlene-circa-1988 wig. He wanted to be mounted like the bull of Poseidon. He considered Domino's Stuffed Crust Pizza to be an essential element. He sang Third Eye Blind. Basically, RDJ killed it.
Can we make him a regular? After all, Downey Jr. cut his teeth on live comedy during his early stint on Saturday Night Live. He and Questlove would probably be best buds. And, you just know he'd slay "Lip Sync Battle."

We can live without a fourth Iron Man, but late night without this guy? It doesn't bear thinking.
