Kendall Jenner Goes Grunge

A rumpled flannel tossed over a T-shirt and worn with jeans was the unspoken uniform for every lovable slacker throughout the '90s. And, along with just about everything from that era, it's currently enjoying something of a resurgence. When Kendall Jenner stepped out for a lunch date with big sis Kourtney in Beverly Hills, she kept things low-key (comparatively so, at least) in sleek, second-skin jeans and a slouchy tee topped with an outfit-making oversized purple flannel.
The lightweight layer brought a dose of grungy cool and a pop of color. (And, bonus: It perfectly matched the furry keychain on her Céline bag.) It's the type of top that you'll find yourself wanting to wear every single day. A flannel upgrades staples as simple as Kendall's jeans and tee, but you can also wear it with a miniskirt or floral sundress (might as well commit). It's as versatile and edgy as your favorite moto jacket — but a whole lot more comfy.
