As if Tom Ford's lipsticks weren't already at the top of our splurge list, the brand is launching eight new colors in a brand-new, matte formula. The richly pigmented, shine-free shades prove that when it comes to makeup, Ford knows just what we want — and gives it to us before we even have to ask.

In addition to having a dreamy, velvety texture, these lipsticks — part of Ford's holiday collection — are seriously long-lasting. One morning swipe survived not just a cross-borough, rain-soaked commute, but several cups of coffee, some pre-lunch snacking, and a sandwich. And, unlike other mattes, this one doesn't dry out your lips, which means it also won't feather. Instead, it fades evenly over several hours.

Of the new hues, we're particularly excited about Plum Lush, a radiant raspberry with cool, purple undertones.
