Robin Williams’ Kids Honor Him At The World Series

There's no crying in baseball? Well, good luck getting through this World Series update without a tear or two.

Yesterday, the San Francisco Giants kicked off Game 5 of the World Series with an emotional tribute to one of their most beloved fans: the late Robin Williams. The Oscar winner was a Giants supporter, and last night, videos of his visits to the ballpark were interspersed with film clips played before the start of the game.

The team also invited Williams' children, Zak, Cody, and Zelda, onto the field to throw out the first pitch. The catcher? Billy Crystal, Williams' longtime friend. The trio sported Williams jerseys on the mound as Zak pitched the ball to Crystal. The two hugged before heading to the stands to watch the game.

"We are honored to be here in support of the tribute to our father, someone who loved his hometown and especially the Giants," Zak, Cody, and Zelda said in a statement. "For all of us, it is a tremendous delight and a little surreal to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of a World Series game for our team to our dad's best friend. We could not think of a better way to celebrate his memory. Let's go Giants!"

Zelda, who recently honored her father with a hummingbird tattoo, later shared a photo of the family's big moment.
