What do Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, RuPaul, Elton John, Nicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga have in common? They're all part of the long line of superstars to represent MAC Viva Glam.
The brand just announced that Ms. Miley will be the 2015 spokesperson for the iconic campaign, which will promote a slew of Cyrus-inspired goods, officially cementing her as an important part of beauty history. Very few details of the collab have been released, but we do know the collection will include two lip products, both in bold, sparkling pinks. (Which, we must say, is très fitting for Cyrus.)
While epic, the announcement isn't exactly a surprise: MAC has been on a beautiful roll lately with new collections. We're waiting with bated breath for the #GirlBoss collab to hit shelves, and we basically had to bow down when the company announced the genius Rocky Horror line.
As for Miley, she's cemented herself as something of a philanthropist earlier this year, when she asked a homeless man, whom she had met through the shelter My Friend's Place, to accompany her to the Video Music Awards. That's right: Beauty meets philanthropy. All the proceeds (yup, every cent) from Viva Glam go toward helping men, women, and children living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. Lipstick for a cause? Yes, please, and thank you.
