We're all for high volume. Our cup shopping cart runneth over with sprays and mousses that were created for the sole purpose of plumping our roots. But, there's volume, and there's volume. Case in point: singer Kacey Musgraves' hair at last night's Country Music Association Awards. Ladies and gents, behold the new Snooki pouf.
How could we forget the reality star's oft-mocked, yet frequently copied 'do? Yes, 2009 was a dark time. Whether in jest or not, everyone replicated the style. Even Ellen DeGeneres dressed up as Snooki's pouf for Halloween (yes, as her pouf, not the Jersey girl herself). The Bumpit became a thing. All of that seems like a far cry from today's no-makeup makeup and easy, effortless waves.

Which is why Kacey's hair strikes such a chord with us. We just barely made it out of the pouf-pocalypse alive, and now we're looking at the country-music version of it. To be fair, amped-up locks are more than a little bit country: The higher the hair, the closer to God, right?
