Uh-oh. Looks like Bradley Cooper didn't get the memo about Movember.
While every other guy you know is growing a scratchy beard or some very faint fuzz above his upper lip, the Serena actor has shaved his scruff. The baby-faced look is for his role in the Broadway production of The Elephant Man, which debuted yesterday.
Cooper's rarely been seen without at least a bit of stubble. In May, he hit peak hirsuteness with a full beard at the Met Costume Institute Gala, but had since lightened his chin load, as it were.
Interestingly, the bare face has been adopted in lieu of prosthetics or heavy makeup for Cooper's role as Joseph Merrick. The Oscar-nominated star is using his facial expressions to convey Merrick's severe deformities.
Well, it's hardly Anne Hathaway shaving her head for Les Miserables, but it's still something to behold. What's next, Jared Leto losing the Jesus beard? (Us Weekly)
