Whether you're a DIY maven or just a constant beauty Pinner, you've probably heard of some of the beauty benefits of lemons. If you'd ever wished for sun-kissed highlights during the summer, you may have even squirted some into your strands to help lighten them. But, there's more to these fruits than the occasional highlight — or cocktail garnish. Elle.com has the scoop on six different beauty uses for lemons.
Elle.com's batch is actually more winter-themed, which is a season you may not think to pull out these yellow fruits. It turns out they're clutch for curing dry skin — including that rough skin you get on your elbows when the mercury dips. The post says to mix lemon juice with baking soda into a paste and then use it to exfoliate your arms. You'll be left with 'bows that are smooth as silk. Jack Frost, do your worst.
