If you were worried Miley Cyrus was going to start dressing like a WASP now that she's dating Kennedy kin, fear not. Days after she was spotted snapping mid-kiss selfies with Patrick Schwarzenegger, she stepped out to run errands in L.A. dressed in a decidedly edgy, classic Miley outfit.

Though the striped silk scarf is unusually ladylike, as is the very uptown Chanel bling, her Comme Des Garçons platform sneakers and vintage Lee cut-off overalls provide a playful foil to the fancy accessories. Shortalls had a major moment last summer, but Cyrus proves there's no need to stow them away for the winter — just pop them over a pair of tights, add substantial shoes, and you've got yourself a new favorite all-seasons outfit. She was wise to keep the rest of the look understated (relatively speaking), sticking with just a few key black basics.
