Katherine Heigl Wants To Make Amends With Shonda Rhimes

The press tour for Katherine Heigl's new show State of Affairs — which premiered last night on NBC to mixed reviews and anemic ratings — has felt like one extended mea culpa for the actress.
If you'll recall, Heigl's once white-hot career took a major hit after she earned a reputation for being difficult to work with. She went from being the Emmy-winning breakout star of Grey's Anatomy, to a certified movie star, to virtually unhirable in what felt like minutes.
In fact, Heigl's rep was so bad, that Grey's (and Scandal) mastermind Shonda Rhimes told The Hollywood Reporter that on Scandal, "there are no Heigl's," on set. "I don't put up with bullshit or nasty people," Rhimes added. "I don't have time for it."

The harsh comments got back to Heigl, who addressed them during a recent interview with Extra. "The last one with Shonda...it sucks,” she said. “I am sorry that she feels that way and I wish her nothing but greatness and I have nothing negative to say about [her]."
Heigl also went so far as to suggest a possible reunion between the two.
"I'm a big fan of her work. I watch Scandal every week and so I'm sorry she's left with such a crappy impression of me. I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday."
