This Is How Taylor Swift Wears A T-Shirt

Now that the hysteria surrounding Taylor Swift and her record-annihilating album has died down (well, mostly — our unwavering enthusiasm for "Blank Space" has yet to fade), the singer's taking a more low-key approach to being in the public eye.

When Swift was spotted out and about in L.A. yesterday, she had abandoned her customary matching sets and schoolgirl stilettos, opting instead for simply jeans and a tee, which — compared to her usual look — seems rather radical.

Obviously, there's nothing radical about the pieces themselves. You're very likely wearing some variation of jeans and tee at this very moment. But, Taylor Swift is the kind of girl who coordinates her outfit with her best friend. She doesn't really do jeans and a tee. She should more often, though, because the minimalism really suits her.

Swift skipped jewelry (sometimes you just can't be bothered, right?), went without makeup, and punctuated her all-black outfit with burgundy rag & bone boots. The result is super casual, but sometimes that's exactly what life calls for.
