The MTV community is reeling from the death of 29-year-old Ryan Knight, a former castmember on 2010's The Real World: New Orleans and frequent contestant on The Challenge. Knight's death comes just two weeks after The Challenge fan favorite Diem Brown lost her battle with cancer. Coincidentally, Knight's Twitter profile photo is an image of him embracing Brown.
Sources have told TMZ that the reality star choked his own vomit after a night of partying on Wednesday night. His body was found on Thursday morning, with unconfirmed reports alleging that Knight had taken pills the night before.

During his stint on MTV, Knight emerged as a popular "villain" of sorts who was frequently embroiled in on-screen spats. He also had an on-off romance with costar Jemmye Carroll. Since learning of Knight's untimely death, Carroll has taken to Twitter to share photos and voicemails from her ex.
Words will never be enough to justify the connection we shared and the pain I will forever feel. RIP @Knight_MTV pic.twitter.com/EUzeoLEwdr

Knight was rumored to be competing on the as-yet-unaired 26th season of The Challenge. It's unclear at this time what impact his death will have on the show's future.
