The Best Nail Colors For Winter

Ever since starting my adventures as Miss Ladyfinger just a few years ago, my small New York City apartment has become a nail polish nirvana. There are, at the very least, 2,000 bottles coming out of cabinets, drawers, and displays, coming from brands ranging from Essie to Chanel to Floss Gloss. While I do love playing with colors from the newest collections, I definitely have some tried and true favorites I won't ever abandon — especially in the winter months.

The runways and red carpet are the first place I look for inspiration. With all the incredible prints and colors coming out of Fashion Month, there’s always something new and shiny (or, sometimes matte) right around the corner. This winter season was delightful in that it wasn’t just one-note about the nails — there was everything from amazing Sixties pastels at Gucci to deep jewel tones at Balenciaga, and a decadent textured lacquer at Alberta Ferretti.
