Open mouth, insert foot.
There should a long line of florist delivery trucks parked outside the Jolie-Pitt residence this morning. Turns out the biggest fallout from the Sony hack may not be the big reveal of embarrassing celebrity pseudonyms — it's the damage done to Angelina Jolie's ego. Allow us to explain.
The hack has uncovered a chain of leaked emails in which top producer Scott Rudin blasts the Oscar-winner for being a "minimally talented spoiled brat." Apparently, Rudin — who, it must be said, is rumored to be somewhat of a tyrant in Hollywood — was displeased that Jolie wanted to have director David Fincher helm her long-awaited Cleopatra film. Rudin, meanwhile, wanted Fincher available for his Steve Jobs biopic. And, he certainly didn't mince words.

The email exchange with Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal is an ugly one, with Rudin calling out "the insanity and rampaging spoiled ego" of Jolie as well as his belief that Cleopatra will be a box office disaster.
"I have no desire to be making a movie with her, or anybody, that she runs and that we don't," Rudin wrote. "She's a camp event and a celebrity and that's all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming."
Ouch. At a certain point Pascal turns on Rudin, accusing him of threatening her and delaying the whole process. And, now, of course, he just looks like a colossal meanie.
Take him down, Angelina. (Defamer)
