Update: Bill Cosby's daughter, Evin, has also released a statement via Access Hollywood. "He is the FATHER you thought you knew. The Cosby Show was my today's TV reality show. Thank you. That's all I would like to say :)" She has also been voicing her support for her father in several Facebook posts.

Original post:
Camille Cosby has responded to the 19 women, including Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson, who have come forward in recent weeks to accuse her husband, Bill Cosby, of drugging and sexually assaulting them.

In a statement released on the CBS Evening News' Twitter account, Mrs. Cosby asks readers to remember "the man you thought you knew" and casts doubts on the mounting allegations against her husband. (Cosby himself addressed the charges publicly for the first time on Friday, and also discussed how his wife was dealing with the situation.)
CBS Evening News tweeted the following statement from Camille Cosby.
Clearly, Cosby has every right to voice support for her husband of over 50 years. It’s also common to blame the media. However, bringing up Rolling Stone’s UVA gang rape story seems to be a very calculated move on her part, by hoping to cast doubt on her husband’s accusers just as various parties have attempted to cast doubt on Jackie’s story in the UVA case.
Cosby also writes that she doesn't want to “be in the position of attacking a victim,” but she's doing just that by implying that all of the women who have come forward about their experiences with her husband are not to be believed.
Before describing what happened to her on VanityFair.com, Beverly Johnson expressed her hesitance to speak out against a beloved public figure like Bill Cosby. She like, us, would love to believe in "the man we thought we knew."
After listening to these women, that’s increasingly hard to do.
