Watch Robin Williams Help His Costar Ask A Girl To Prom

Robin Wiliams was a genuinely nice guy. That's been the overwhelming sentiment by those who knew him best. Even four months after his death, tales of Williams' extraordinary kindness continue to emerge.
The latest comes courtesy of Night at the Museum star Skyler Gisondo. While shooting the latest installment of the franchise, the 18-year-old actor (who plays Ben Stiller's son in the film) had the most important day of any teenager's life on the horizon: prom. But because he was spending his days in front of a green screen instead of a chalkboard, asking a girl out in person proved impossible.

Instead, Gisondo enlisted his famous co-stars Williams and Stiller to do his bidding. And now we have the footage.
“All morning, Robin was pitching more ideas,” Gisondo told The Hollywood Reporter. “He was saying ‘Can I say this? Would it be appropriate to say this?’ You’re Robin Williams. You can say whatever you want!”
What transpired is a three-minute clip of Williams doing what he does best, a moment Gisondo calls "the most awesome three minutes" of his life.
Oh, and she said yes, because duh. (Hello Giggles)
