Idris Elba Had The Best Response To Those James Bond Rumors

One of the more exciting reveals from the Sony hacking scandal is that Hollywood is officially keen to cast Idris Elba as the next James Bond. Seeing as how current 007 Daniel Craig is still filming the next movie, Spectre, that won't be for quite some time, but everyone —apart from simple-minded conservative talking heads — is excited at the prospect nonetheless.

That includes Elba himself. The British actor, best known for The Wire and Luther, cheekily responded to the rumors on Instagram.

Consider us charmed. Elba's got the accent, the action stunt experience, and the dashing good looks. He's already got an in with Moneypenny. If he can convince Obsessed costar Beyoncé to perform the theme song, all the better.
