Katy Perry is this year's Super Bowl halftime show singer, and she plans to use everything in her arsenal to make it a performance no one will ever forget. This includes pyrotechnics, impressive dance moves, and apparently her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift. That's right — even when Swift isn't involved in a show that's being broadcast to the entire world, she somehow manages to make an appearance. Insert surprised face here.
Swift and Perry's public rivalry has been building for several years. It culminated in Swift's September Rolling Stone interview, in which she maybe sort of revealed that the song "Bad Blood" is about Perry giving her the cold shoulder at award shows and attempting to sabotage "an entire arena tour." It was not, Swift insisted, about a guy — although they both dated John Mayer. Perry responded to Swift's accusations with a tweet reading, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing."

Perry is currently in the midst of rehearsals for her Super Bowl performance on February 1, and Hollywood Life spoke to a source about what exactly she has up her sleeve. "Katy wants to show she is the biggest female act," the source said. "She wants to make a statement with her performance and show that she is the biggest female act in the world, and she wants to show that to everyone including Taylor, who she has a feud with. In Katy's eyes, no one can compete on her level."
Well, that all sounds very vague, but the anonymous source had some additional scoop to offer. "Katy will be doing something on stage during her performance that will be directed towards Taylor. She is working on it to be a visual or a lyric-related jab."
In other words, keep your eyes and ears peeled during the Super Bowl halftime show. You're gonna hear Katy Perry roar at Taylor Swift. (Hollywood Life)
