Jordan Catalano Jared Leto has just made a rather curious real estate purchase. Going the typical Hollywood route and swiping up a home from another celeb? Nope, not for Leto. He's just bought an off-market home in Laurel Canyon for a cool $5 million — and, it's no ordinary home. Trulia reports that the house was a former military compound and secret film studio.
Variety has the scoop on the space's history, explaining that it "was originally built in the early 1940s and was used until the late 1960s as a military film studio where, among other classified projects, a small army of filmmakers and photographers with top security clearance made training films and documented military research on atomic bomb tests."
The property allegedly boasts 50,000 square feet, eight bedrooms, and 12 bathrooms — all the more room for breeding an army of youthful vampires. Yep, Leto, we know your secret, and it's time to stop hiding it once and for all. Click ahead to see pics of the home. (Trulia)
